Audre Rapoport Library
Planned Parenthood of Central Texas has been in
Waco since 1939 assuring that quality, comprehensive reproductive health care
and education is available to all. Although Planned Parenthood in Waco has
always offered educational materials to their patients and the community, the
Planned Parenthood Audre Rapoport Library has grown through the years and now
has approximately 1000 books, pamphlets, curricula, teaching aides and
educational videos.
This is a specialized collection related to
reproductive health and sexuality. This one-of-a-kind library also includes an
extensive Spanish language collection relevant to reproductive health and
sexuality. Further, the Planned Parenthood Audre Rapoport library maintains
computer terminals with Internet access which are available for use.
Planned Parenthood of Central Texas would like to
thank the Meadows Foundation for their generous contribution which has
enabled PPCT to increase their Spanish language holdings and enhance the library
technology.
